Hello and welcome! I am an author and illustrator of picture books! I love creating books that bring history to life! I also want to create stories with diverse characters. “All children should see themselves in the books they read!”
I have created three books for Young Dragons Press (Roan & Weatherford) in the US. I have independently published many other books.
I live in Brantford, Ontario, Canada🇨🇦. I taught elementary school for many years and especially enjoyed teaching about history and art. I love traveling to new places and spending time at my cabin on a lake. I also enjoy renovating my century home.
I illustrate my picture books using mixed media, such as dyed and cut paper, pencil crayon, paint and tissue paper. I also use computer filters to add texture and details.
